Power of Words: BFA Thesis
For my BFA Thesis Project, I focused on the Power of Words and how what we think and say affects our mental, physical, and emotional health. This book documents the process and exhibition of this project, and contains the research paper. The exhibition of this project was presented as a maze made up of negative words, symbolizing how thinking negatively can trap a person. Only when a blacklight was shown on the maze and a change in perception was made, could a person find their way through. Additionally, when a person stood far away from the maze with the blacklight, the negative words disappeared and they could see that the pathway through the maze spelled the word "PERCEPTION".
